Christian Brose

Biography

Christian Brose is the chief strategy officer at Anduril Industries, a visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution, a member of the Aspen Strategy Group, and the author of The Kill Chain: Defending America in the Future of High-Tech Warfare (Hachette 2020). From 2009 to 2018, Brose worked in the U.S. Senate, first as senior policy advisor to Senator John McCain and then as staff director of the Senate Armed Services Committee. He began his career in government in 2004 at the U.S. State Department, where he served as a speechwriter to Secretary of State Colin Powell and, from 2005 to 2008, as chief speechwriter to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and a member of the Secretary’s Policy Planning Staff.
