Vera recently joined the Aspen Strategy Group as an Aspen Security Forum Intern. She has previously interned with nonprofit organizations in Seattle, Washington and Sofia, Bulgaria, where she worked on advocacy and social media outreach. She graduated from Middlebury College in 2023 with a degree in International and Global Studies (with a concentration in French) and a minor in Russian. The topic of her senior thesis was Muslim social integration in France. She enjoys exploring the nexus between political science and sociology and has a passion for languages. Vera is originally from Tacoma, Washington. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, watching international films, and exploring whichever city she finds herself in.
