In August 2019, the Aspen Strategy Group hosted their annual Summer Workshop in Aspen, CO and brought together members of the Strategy Group and invited experts to speak on a question of U.S.-China relations. This meeting of seventy of the nation’s top policy experts, business leaders, scholars, and journalists occurred over four days in early August and covered topics ranging from the implications of expanding 5G to the increasingly competitive nature of U.S.-China relations.
The opening event of the Summer Workshop was an IQ2 debate featuring several of our members and invited experts debating recent U.S. policy toward China. A video and summary of the debate can be found here.
