Peter Baker is the Chief White House Correspondent for The New York Times and a political analyst for MSNBC. He is covering his sixth presidency for The Times and previously The Washington Post. Baker was also stationed in Moscow for four years and covered the opening stages of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq for The Post and served briefly as Jerusalem Bureau Chief for The Times. He is the author or co-author of seven books, most recently the New York Times bestseller “The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017-2021,” with Glasser.
