Military Legislative Assistant, Office of U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin
Grace Kim supports Senator Elissa Slotkin’s national security work as her Military Legislative Assistant and previously led then-Congresswoman Slotkin’s defense and foreign policy work in the House of Representatives. Prior to Congress, Grace was a career civil servant in the Department of Defense and worked as a policy advisor across several offices, including Space and Missile Defense, East Asia, Afghanistan, Strategy and Force Development, and Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction. Prior to government, she was an international security policy researcher at several defense think tanks focused on military strategy and operations and previously spent four years in Turkey focused on Eurasian and NATO security policy, including as a Fulbright Fellow. She has an MA in strategic studies and international economics from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies and a BA in politics from Princeton University.
