Katrina Mulligan leads National Security for OpenAI for Government. Prior to her current role, Katrina spent over 15 years in senior roles in the Department of Defense, Department of Justice, the Intelligence Community, and on the National Security Council Staff. Most recently, she served as chief of staff to Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth and before that, as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict. Katrina was Barack Obama’s paralegal and first hire for his Senate campaign, where her first task was to buy the domain name www.barackobama.com. She is an alumna of the University of Chicago and received a juris doctorate degree from the UCLA School of Law.
