Claudia Ruiz Massieu is currently serving as a Congresswoman in Mexico’s Chamber of Deputies. Previously, she was a Senator from 2018 to 2024, during which she chaired the USMCA Committee. From 2015 to 2017, she served as Mexico’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs. She has held leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, including as president of a major political party. She holds academic credentials in law, public administration, strategic management, and branding.
