Mike Schnabel is Vice President of International Operations and Policy at The Boeing Company. He oversees Boeing’s efforts with the U.S. Government on all international commercial, services and defense sales, leads engagement with the diplomatic community, and represents the company with international businesses, non-governmental organizations, and trade groups. His organization is also responsible for coordinating Boeing’s efforts on export policy, foreign military sales, visa policy, and technology transfer issues.
A retired U.S. Air Force officer, Mike served in numerous overseas and stateside operational fighter pilot assignments including a tour as an instructor at the U.S. Air Force Weapons School, an operational test pilot, and flew in numerous combat deployments. He also held a variety of headquarters staff assignments, including Director of Combat Operations at U.S. Air Forces Central Command’s Air Operations Center and the Chief of Foreign Disclosure, Weapons, and Technology Transfer for the Deputy Under Secretary of the Air Force, International Affairs.
He is a graduate of the Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, Air Command and Staff College, and the U.S. Air Force Academy.
