Matt cofounded and leads McKinsey’s Geopolitics Practice, which helps companies, investors, and governments strategically plan, accelerate growth, and bolster resilience amidst geopolitical tensions. He has appeared on The Problem with Jon Stewart as well as PBS: Story in the Public Square, and his op-eds have been featured in The Wall Street Journal and The Hill, among others. Matt deployed to Afghanistan as a Green Beret with U.S. Special Forces and worked at the U.S. Mission to the United Nations for the Peacekeeping Mission. Matt is a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations and on the Board of Directors for No One Left Behind (NOLB), a nonprofit focused on advocating for interpreters who worked with US Armed Forces.
