Senior Nonproliferation Adviser, Culmen International
April Arnold is a Senior Nonproliferation Adviser at Culmen International, supporting the Department of Energy’s Office of Nuclear Smuggling Detection & Deterrence. Her previous experience includes working for contractors supporting the Department of War on U.S. arms control implementation and verification. She was a policy volunteer for the Biden-Harris Presidential campaign in 2020 and a founding co-chair for Foreign Policy for America’s Next Generation Defense & Intelligence Working Group. She is also a Member of the Advisory Board for the University of Delaware’s Political Science and International Relations Department, a 2021-2022 Board Fellow for Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, and a 2021 Nuclear Scholar for the Project on Nuclear Issues at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. April received a BA in International Relations from the University of Delaware and is pursuing her MA in Sustainable Energy at Johns Hopkins University.
