Niamh King is the Director of the Aspen Strategy Group and the Aspen Security Forum. The Aspen Strategy Group’s mission is to convene decision-makers in resolutely non-partisan public and private forums to address key foreign policy challenges facing the United States. The ASG presents the annual Aspen Security Forum, organizes its yearly Summer Workshop, hosts Track II dialogues, and cultivates the next generation of leaders in national security and foreign policy through its Rising Leaders Program.
Ms. King previously served as the Vice President for Programs and Strategic Content at The Chicago Council on Global Affairs. Prior to joining the Council, she held positions with Intel, the European Commission, FÁS, and the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
Ms. King is on the Advisory Board for the University College Dublin Clinton Institute and the University of Chicago Women’s Board.
