Jasper Campbell is a Deputy Director at ThayerMahan, Inc. where he leads a team of engineers and technicians that design and build autonomous maritime surveillance platforms for the company’s defense and offshore energy clients. Previously, he co-founded a video analytics company for public safety and served on Active Duty in the U.S. Coast Guard for six years as an officer, where he led counter-narcotics operations at sea, developed coastal surveillance systems, and spearheaded service-wide tech acquisitions. His analysis on maritime and national security affairs has been featured in U.S. Naval Institute Proceedings, The Strategy Bridge, RealClear Defense and The Center for International Maritime Security. Jasper graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy with a B.S. in electrical engineering.
