Managing Director, Aprio
Connor McCubrey is currently the Managing Director at Aprio. He was formerly a Vice President at Nextfed, a strategy consulting and mergers and acquisitions advisory firm specializing in national security and aerospace. Connor advises clients across industry on M&A and strategic growth in the aerospace, defense, government services, and intelligence markets and is passionate about industrial base issues. Previously, Connor proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, leading Marines as a Combat Engineer Officer and managing the legislative portfolio for the Deputy Commandant of Combat Development and Integration. He also worked on foreign policy and national security issues while serving as a Defense Legislative Fellow in the U.S. Senate. Connor earned a B.S. in political science from the United States Naval Academy, an M.A. in security studies from Georgetown University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Connor hails from Marietta, GA, and now lives with his wife Kelly on Capitol Hill.
