Dr. Michael Fullilove is the Executive Director of the Lowy Institute. A Rhodes Scholar and Boyer Lecturer, he has worked as a lawyer, a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution and an adviser to Prime Minister Paul Keating. He writes on Australian and US foreign policy in publications including The New York Times, Financial Times and Foreign Affairs. His books include the award-winning “Rendezvous with Destiny: How Franklin D. Roosevelt and Five Extraordinary Men Took America into the War and into the World” (Penguin Press). His forthcoming book is on John F. Kennedy and his speechwriter and confidant Ted Sorensen.
