David Gura, an award-winning anchor and correspondent for Bloomberg Television and Radio, and co-host of “Bloomberg This Weekend” and the “Big Take” podcast, has spent his career covering the intersection of Wall Street and Washington. Previously, Gura was a correspondent for NPR and NBC News, and an anchor at MS NOW. He was also a senior reporter for the public radio program “Marketplace.” Gura regularly contributes reporting and analysis to CNN, MS NOW, and the PBS NewsHour, and his writing has appeared in The New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, and the Los Angeles Times. Born in Boulder, Colorado, and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Gura received a bachelor’s degree in history and American studies, with honors, from Cornell University, and a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
