Katherine Ntiamoah is the Director of Policy Engagement and Strategic Partnerships at Indiana University’s Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies, where she leads the school’s global policy network, cultivates strategic partnerships, and translates academic expertise into international decision-making. As an African Studies Program Affiliate Faculty member, she advances scholarship and engagement on Africa and its diasporas. With nearly two decades in diplomacy and public service, she has shaped U.S. foreign policy and built cross-sector partnerships across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Her work spans strategic communications, public engagement, and humanitarian policy, focusing on countering disinformation, empowering civil society, and expanding opportunities through education and economic initiatives. A first-generation Ghanaian-American, she holds degrees from Indiana University Bloomington and the University of Denver Josef Korbel School of Global and Public Affairs. Actively engaged in local government and civic leadership, she connects academic insight to policy solutions with global impact.
