Foreign Area Officer, Indo-Pacific Region, U.S. Air Force
Maj. Brittany Morreale leads the NATO Logistics Exercise Section responsible for planning and executing training for NATO Alliance and Partner Nations. As a Foreign Area Officer with a specialty in the Indo-Pacific region, she utilizes political-military expertise and R&D experience to support alliance modernization and innovative approaches to multi-domain challenges. Brittany Morreale is a 2010 graduate of the US Air Force Academy, where she majored in Physics and minored in Japanese. As a Rhodes Scholar, she completed her MPhil at Oxford University. Brittany served as a physicist at the Air Force Research Laboratory and at the DST Group in South Australia as part of the Engineer and Scientist Exchange Program. Brittany led the Plans and Engagements section at 5th Air Force until 2021. Maj. Morreale earned a Ph.D. in Asian Studies from the University of Adelaide, Australia, and currently serves at NATO SHAPE. She enjoys trail running, travel, and writing.
