Military Legislative Assistant, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst
Nolan joined the office of U.S. Senator Joni Ernst in May 2021 and currently serves as her Military Legislative Assistant. Prior to that, Nolan served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force where he rose to the rank of Captain and held Logistics and Contracting Officer positions. During his time in the Air Force, Nolan served at F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming; and deployed in support of Special Operations Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, as well as Iraq. He holds a B.S. in English from the United States Air Force Academy, and an M.A. in English from Pennsylvania State University. Nolan currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
