Strategic Advisor, Office of the Deputy Secretary of State
Patrick Shilo is currently an advisor in the Office of the Deputy Secretary of State focusing on the intersection of policy, process, and operations. Prior to joining the State Department, Patrick served as a special assistant on the National Security Council in the Biden-Harris administration, under Chairman Jack Reed on the Senate Armed Services Committee and on the National Security and Communications teams at Third Way, a center-left Washington, DC think tank. Patrick received a B.A. in government and international politics from George Mason University and resides in Arlington, VA.
