Kaupo Rosin is the Director General of the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service since 1 November 2022. Prior to that, he served twenty-seven years in the Estonian Defense Forces (EDF). His last post was as the Commander of Cyber Command, from where he retired with the rank of Colonel. From 2018 to 2022, he served as the Deputy Director of the Analysis Unit of the Joint Intelligence and Security Division at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, and before that as Commander of the Military Intelligence Centre of the EDF from 2012 to 2018. He has also held various positions in the General Staff of the EDF and the Intelligence Battalion. In 2005, he was deployed to Iraq and served at the Multi National Force-Iraq HQ. Mr. Rosin holds a M.B.A. in economics from the Universität Bundeswehr München and has completed the National General Staff Course of the Führungsakademie der Bundeswehr.
