Ayman H. Safadi has served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan since October 2020, after serving as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates from January 2017. He previously served in the Jordanian Senate, chaired the Senate Communications and National Guidance Committee, and was a member of the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee. In 2010, he was appointed Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of State, and Government Spokesperson, and from 2008 to 2010 served as an Advisor to His Majesty King Abdullah II.
