Analyst, U.S. Department of War
Elliot Silverberg is an analyst at the U.S. Department of War. Previously, Elliot was a digital policy advisor at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration. In this capacity, he covered global digital services and trade issues and helped coordinate Commerce’s early design of the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) digital economy component. Prior to joining the Commerce Department, Elliot worked at Access Partnership, a global technology policy consultancy, and The Asia Group, a business advisory firm specialized in the Indo-Pacific. Elliot was also a research fellow at the Pacific Forum in Hawaii and the Institute for the Study of Diplomacy in Washington, and has written for various outlets. Elliot holds a BS summa cum laude from Oregon State University, and an MA in Asian Studies from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
