Legislative Assistant, Office of U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper
Camilla Vogt is a Legislative Assistant in the office of U.S. Senator John Hickenlooper. Her portfolio covers defense, foreign affairs, homeland security, veterans, and appropriations. She previously led policy development on the senator’s campaign and served in legislative roles with Senator Michael Bennet and then-Representative Jared Polis (CO-02). Outside of public policy, she spent three years working with social entrepreneurs at business accelerators in Colorado, Guatemala, and the United Kingdom. Camilla holds a master’s degree in public policy with distinction from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rotary Scholar, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Colorado College. Camilla is currently enrolled in the Fleet Seminar Program at the U.S. Naval War College and is a 2022-2023 Penn Kemble Fellow with the National Endowment for Democracy. A dual citizen of the United States and Mexico, she speaks English, Spanish, and French.
