Deputy Executive Secretary, U.S. Department of the Treasury
Zach Mollengarden is the Deputy Executive Secretary for International Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Previously, he served as an attorney in the Office of the Assistant General Counsel for International Affairs, where he advised on a broad range of international economic issues, with concentrations in sovereign debt, international financial regulation, and investment law. Before joining Treasury, Zach worked in the Washington, DC and Singapore offices of Three Crowns LLP, a specialist international arbitration firm, and in the London offices of Barclays PLC. A term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Zach holds a JD from Yale Law School, an MPhil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, and a BA in Political Science and Religion from Middlebury College. A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Zach lives in Washington, DC.
